PLATTSBURGH — Mr. Albert M. Dapo Jr., 22, formerly of Plattsburgh and most recently of Mechanicville, N.Y., died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, as a result of an automobile accident in Saratoga, N.Y.
He was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., on July 25, 1984, the son of Albert M. Dapo Sr. and Brenda Goddeau.
Albert's greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Albert was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Ralph Dapo Sr., Thelma Thew Rivers, Robert Rivers and Jacqueline White.
He is survived by his fiancÃ©e, Desiree Selman of Cohoes; his mother, Brenda Goddeau of Plattsburgh; his father, Albert Dapo Sr. and his wife Rene of Plattsburgh; his son, Dante Dapo and his stepdaughter, Rayvin Sanger, both of Cohoes; his maternal grandparents, Joe "Bucky" Goddeau and his wife Genevieve of Dannemora; his siblings, his twin brother, Alan Dapo of Utica, Michele Lapham, Tiffany A. Dapo, Dylan M. Dapo, all of Plattsburgh and Harold Parent Jr. of Ellenburg; several step-siblings; many aunts, uncles and cousins, also survive him.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Cemetery.
