SARANAC LAKE — Boyer's Trash took a 1-0 lead over Vet's Club in its best of three series with an 11-10 victory in the Saranac Lake Pool League Finals. Vet's Club will look to tie the series with game two on Tuesday.

CHAZY — The 11th Annual Chazy Key Club "Run for Your Life" fun run/walk will take place on May 20 at noon.
Events include a 5k walk, 5k run and a 10k run. T-shirts will be given to the first 75 entries.
Entries will be accepted up until the start of the event. There is a $10 entry fee for all entries postmarked by April 30. After that date the entry fee is $15.
Ribbons will be awarded to top placement in each category, and all participants have a chance to win prizes that will be drawn at the end of the event.
Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Elmore SPCA Humane Society & Animal Shelter.
