PLATTSBURGH — Most local public-school districts made it through the winter with at least one unused snow day.
Many of them will add the days to spring break or Memorial Day weekend — as long as they aren't still needed as snow days.
Here's what the districts have planned:
AuSable Valley Central School: One snow day left, to be used April 16.
Beekmantown Central School: One snow day left, will be used May 25 to extend Memorial Day weekend.
Brushton-Moira Central School: Two days left, to be used today and May 25.
Chateaugay Central School: Two days left, one reserved by school, never given back. No discussion on how to use remaining day.
Chazy Central Rural School: Two left, no discussion on how to use them.
Crown Point: Two days left, to be used May 25 and 29.
Elizabethtown-Lewis Central School: Two days left, to be used today and May 25.
Keene Central School: Two days left, to be used May 25 and 29.
Lake Placid Central School: One day left, do not plan to use it.
Malone Central School: Two days left, to be used today and May 25.
Moriah Central School: Two snow days left. Undecided, but will be added to vacations.
Newcomb Central School: One day left. Sometime around Memorial Day weekend.
Northeastern Clinton Central School: Two days left, to be used May 25 and 29.
Northern Adirondack Central School: Two days left. No official discussion on when to use them.
Peru Central School: One day left. No decision on when to use it.
Plattsburgh City School: One day left, to be used May 25.
Salmon River Central School: Two days left, to be used today and May 25.
Saranac Central School: Two days left, tentatively planned to be used around Memorial Day weekend.
Saranac Lake Central School: One day left. Decision on use to be made in April.
Schroon Lake Central School: One day left, to be taken May 25.
St. Regis Falls Central School: Two days left, with plans to use today and May 25.
Ticonderoga Central School: None remaining.
Westport Central School: One left. No decision made on when to use it.
Willsboro Central School: One day left. No decision on when to use it.
