Plattsburgh Town Court closed today

PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh Town Court will be closed today because of the Good Friday holiday.

Public hearing on Peru wind moratorium set

PERU — The public hearing on re-establishing a one-year moratorium on windmill farms will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Peru Town Hall.
The Peru Town Council meeting scheduled for that night has been rescheduled for Monday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall.

Denim Day to benefit sexual-assault services

PLATTSBURGH — Planned Parenthood Sexual Assault Services is encouraging local residents and businesses to participate in Denim Day April 27 to support victims of domestic violence during Sexual-Assault Awareness Month.
Interested participants can stop by Sexual Assault Services at 159 Margaret St., Suite 203, or Planned Parenthood clinics in Plattsburgh, Malone or Saranac Lake to purchase the $5 tickets.
All proceeds will be donated to Sexual Assault Services for Clinton and Franklin counties, which provides free services to victims and their families.
