TROY — It was a long day for the Clinton Community College men's baseball team Friday.
The Cougars (1-3 overall) dropped both ends of a doubleheader to Hudson Valley Community College — 27-0 and 10-0 — in five innings.
"They are very good and we didn't play well," said Clinton C.C, head coach Tom Neale. "The only positive was that our pitchers threw strikes."
Brian Brothers and Adam Trim had the lone hits for the Cougars in the first game, while Will Latour, Trim and Chris White had singles in the second contest.
Ryan Bartels took the loss in Game 1 and Latour in the nightcap.
The Cougars will play next Wednesday at Schenectady Community College.
