BANGKOK, Thailand — Dr. and Mrs. Chaiyutha Lertpachin of Bangkok announce the engagement of their daughter, Veena, of Singapore to John Byler Voss of Jakarta, Indonesia, son of Stuart and Linda Voss of Plattsburgh.
Veena Lertpachin graduated from International School Bangkok (international baccalaureat, 1996); Wesleyan University with a B.A. in economics and East Asian studies, 2000; Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with an M.A. in international relations — China studies; and INSEAD with an M.B.A. in 2007.
John Voss graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1992; Swarthmore College with a B.A. in economics and linguistics in 1996; and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with an M.A. in international relations — Southeast Asian studies. He is an evaluation specialist at The World Bank.
A July 20 wedding has been planned in Bangkok.
