PLATTSBURGH — The Algonquin Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club invites the public to join its member for the following outings in the coming week.
On Wednesday, the Walk About Town meets on City Hall steps at 3 p.m. for an hour of brisk walking in a city neighborhood.
Join the Chapter on Friday, April 13, for the show at the North Country Planetarium on the SUNY campus. Call Marilyn Smith, leader, at 561-3167, by April 10 to reserve a place.

MORRISONVILLE — A hunter-safety education course will be offered April 18-21 in the Conservation Building on the Clinton County Fairgrounds. It is a required course for those interested in purchasing a hunting license in New York State and all other states and Canada.

PLATTSBURGH — A girls' high school/club soccer tournament will be held Sunday at the Plattsburgh State Fieldhouse with officials looking for one more team. All games will be seven-on-seven.
