PERSONAL-INJURY ACCIDENTS

CONSTABLE — A Malone man sustained minor injuries after he lost control of his car and crashed into a fence post Tuesday.
According to State Police based in Malone, Matthew J. Malley, 26, was traveling east on Miller Road when he went off the road's south shoulder and struck the fence post.
Malley complained of shoulder pain and was taken to Alice Hyde Medical Center, where he was treated and released.
No tickets were issued.
BEEKMANTOWN — Three people were injured in a head-on collision on Route 9 Wednesday morning.
According to State Police based in Plattsburgh, a 2003 Pontiac driven by Adelard Bedard, 83, was heading south on Route 9 near Gilmour Lane around 9:27 a.m. when it crossed the center line and hit a 2005 Toyota driven by Gerald R. Beggs, 48.
Bedard suffered a neck injury and was taken to the CVPH Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition Wednesday night.
Beggs hurt his back and a passenger in his vehicle, Gerald D. Beggs, 72, sustained injuries to his stomach and pelvis.
Both the Beggses were treated at the hospital and discharged.
Bedard was ticketed for failure to keep right.
