PLATTSBURGH — The Clinton Community College women's softball doubleheader against North Country Community College scheduled for Friday has been canceled due to inclement weather.
No makeup date has been scheduled at this time.

PLATTSBURGH — Plattsburgh State softball coach Sean Cotter has announced that the Cardinals will host Oneonta on Saturday for a doubleheader, beginning at noon.

WEST PLATTSBURGH — The 2nd-Annual J & M Snacks Softball Tournament will be held Saturday, April 21, at American Legion Post 1619.
This is a one-pitch men's tournament, with a team entry fee of $125. For more information, or to enter a team, call John Recore, at 569-5947.

CHAZY — The 11th Annual Chazy Key Club "Run For Your Life" fun run/walk will take place on May 20 at noon.
Events include a 5K walk, a 5K run and a 10 K run. The first 75 entries will receive a specially designed event t-shirt.
Entries will be accepted up the start of the event. All entries postmarked by April 30 will be $10, all entries received afterwards will be $15.
Ribbons will be awarded for top placement in each category, and all participants have a chance to win prizes that will be drawn at the end of the event.
Proceeds from this year's event will benefit the Elmore SPCA Humane Society & Animal Shelter.

WEST PLATTSBURGH — The 5th-Annual Bobby Pugh Memorial Shuffleboard Tournament to be held at the American Legion Post 1619 on Friday at 6:30 p.m. for draw partner, Saturday at 1 p.m. for bring partner and Sunday at 1 p.m. for mixed doubles.

TROY — The Troy-Albany Ice Cats Girl's Tier I Ice Hockey Program will be holding tryouts for the 2007-08 season. The program is open to all girls. A USA release form will be required to compete. The fee will be $40.
