Museum volunteers needed

LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society is seeking volunteers for the 2007 museum season (May through October). Friendly, outgoing volunteers are needed to help staff the museum, greet visitors and assist with the ongoing cataloging of the archival and artifact collections. No experience is necessary and training will be provided. Students and senior citizens are encouraged to volunteer.
Volunteer museum docents will greet visitors, assist with exhibits and do light maintenance. Collections volunteers will assist with the photographing, identification, numbering, cataloging and arranging of archival and artifact collections under the supervision of the museum director.

Adirondack Theatre slates informational session

PLATTSBURGH — Adirondack Regional Theatre will be holding an informational meeting in regards to their summer season. The meeting will be held at Clinton Community College's Stafford Center Theater on Wednesday, April 18 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Attendees will learn about auditions and performance dates for "Seussical Jr." and "Disney's High School Musical."
