MALONE — The 11 a.m. Mass at Notre Dame Church, Malone, will open the celebration of Divine Mercy Sunday. Following the Mass, from noon to 2 p.m., the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed for individual adoration and confessions will be heard. A Holy Hour, with prayers to honor Jesus, the Divine Mercy and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. The Chaplet of the Divine Mercy will be sung. The Rev. Martin Cline will celebrate Mass and Monsignor Dennis Duprey will officiate at the Holy Hour. PLATTSBURGH — Yom HaShoah Service, a remembrance day for The Holocaust and Heroism, will be held at Temple Beth Israel, 1 Bowman St., Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
CHAMPLAIN — The people of Three Steeples and Mooers United Methodist cordially invite the community to two special services on Sunday. At 9:30 am., Amy House will speak on her mission trip to the Sunflower Orphanage in Brazil at the Mooers church next to the post office. At 11 a.m., a journey begins to Three Steeples, Rte. 11, to do the "hokey pokey" and celebrate Christ's victory over death with "Holy Humor," special music, an abundance of laughter, outrageous clothes, family and a potluck luncheon. Come experience the joy of following the Risen Christ, an ancient tradition of the early disciples which is now being reclaimed by God's people.
