KEESEVILLE — The Keeseville Youth Commission will be holding sign-ups for its summer baseball/softball season this week.All girls and boys ages 4-16 are encouraged to sign up for t-ball, grasshopper, peewee and pony levels. The sign-ups will be held at the Town of AuSable Office Building in Keeseville on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon.Anyone interested in umpiring or coaching this season are asked to sign up at this time as well. Coaching positions are available for one boys grasshopper team and two boys peewee teams. PLATTSBURGH — The Admirals skated to a 7-5 win over the Bionic Beavers last week to end the Beavers' 17-game regular season winning streak in the Men's A Hockey League at the Lake City Stars Arena. The Beavers won all 12 games in the first session and were 5-0 in the second session before the setback.Robin Weeden, Craig Reyell and Todd Coupal led the way offensively for the Admirals, while Eric Fessette made 40 saves in net. Matt Loughan, Jim Jennings, Kyle Siskavich and Jason Perry accounted for the Beavers' scoring.In other games, the Green Room defeated the Lounge Lizards, 7-5, as Jason Therrien, Ryan Johnston and Jesse Lawrenz did the scoring. Jayson Barnhart, Steve Moffat, Mike Gillett and Tony Lilledahl tallied for the Lizards.Kyle Sweenor tallied four goals, while Nate Drollette and Scott Favaro also scored as the Molson Mullets recorded a 9-4 win over Wyeth.
