CHAZY — Evan Green pounded out four hits, including a double, to lead Chazy past Willsboro 13-2 in Mountain & Valley Athletic Conference non-league baseball action Wednesday.
Taylor Reynolds struck out six batters in the first two innings for Willsboro, but the Eagles scored four runs in the third inning and seven in the fifth to pull away.
"We started out slow in the first two innings, but we started to get our bats going in the third inning," Chazy head coach Craig Duprey said.
Nolan Ryan scattered three hits and went the distance to get the victory, while Reynolds took the loss.
