Chateaugay — Adrienne Beaudin, 82, of River St., Chateaugay died Monday Jan. 17, 2000 at Alice Hyde Medical Center, Malone, where she had been a patient since Nov. 9, 1999. Born in St. Antoine Abbe, Que. on March 14, 1917, she was the daughter of Hermas and Rose (Provost) Yelle.
She was married to Ivan Beaudin on July 26, 1938 in St. Antoine Abbe, Que. He predeceased her on Nov. 7, 1989.
Mrs. Beaudin is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Gilles and Evelyn Beaudin of Chateaugay, Marc and Vicki Beaudin of Winthrop, Gary and Renne Beaudin of Plattsburgh, Michael and Kathy Beaudin of Chateaugay; two daughters and sons-in-law, Henrietta and Vance Smith of Chateaugay, Colleen and John Beckett of Chateaugay; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Henrietta Yelle of Massena, Geston and Vivian Yelle of Churubusco; two sisters, Mary Paul Raminllard of Montreal, P.Q., Odette Trombley of Valleyfield, P.Q.; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Those that preceded in death were her husband, a daughter; Nicole Glennon; a son; Yves Beaudin, several sisters and brothers.
Mrs Beaudin moved to the United States in 1946, she was employed by Tru-Stitch Dress Factory, Malone for 15 years retiring in 1979. She loved working in her garden.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Chateaugay and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Visitation will be at Chateaugay Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 with a prayer vigil at 3 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday Jan. 20, 2000 in St. Patrick's Church with Rev. Fay Ager officiating. Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Chateaugay in the spring.
Donations in her memory may be made to Chateaugay Fire and Rescue.
