PLATTSBURGH — Mrs. Alma C. Lavigne, 85, of Stetson Ave. died Friday March 2, 2000, at the CVPH MedicalCenter.
She was born in Plattsburgh on April 4, 1914, the daughter of the late William C. and Arma (Rollier) Carr. She was a graduate of the Champlain Valley School of Nursing Class of 1936. Alma was a member of St. Peter's Church and was the widow of Edward C. Lavigne, Sr. who died in 1992.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward C. and Barbara Lavigne of Plattsburgh; two daughters and a son-in-law, Suzanne Brunet of Plattsburgh, Judith and Barry Haley of Plattsburgh; a brother and a sister-in-law, George and Jean Carr of Syracuse, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Plattsburgh.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Peter's Church.
