Malone — Albert J. Charland, 64, of the Bruso Road, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center.
He was born on Feb. 2, 1936, in Malone, the son of Leonard and Dorothy (Smith) Charland.
He married Genevieve Tebo on Sept. 17, 1960, at St. George's Church in Burke. She survives.
Besides his wife and his mother, Dorothy Smith Charland LaPlante of the Alice Hyde Nursing Home in Malone, he is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Pam and Philip Denny, Nanette and William Godin and Jeanette Tummons, all of the Malone area and Laura Charland of Syracuse; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Brent and Rebecca Charland and Michael Charland, all of the Malone area and Scott and Dana Charland of Maryland; two sisters, Mrs. Emerson (Joanne) Ward and Mrs. Lawrence (Mary Anne) Jock, both of Malone; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Rose Charland of Toledo, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Adam Charland, Colleen Charland, Trent Tummons, Chadd Charland, Aimee Denny, Daniel Charland, Tanner Godin and Joseph Godin; also several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Mr. Charland lived all his life in the Malone area and attended local schools in Malone. He worked in the dairy business for 32 years. He was employed by Sentinel Elm Dairy on the Porter Road through the 1950
