Elizabethtown — Albert Almon Clark, 84, of Ponca City, Okla., formerly of Elizabethtown and Plattsburgh, died Tues. Nov. 28, 2000, in Okla.
He was born on Feb. 3, 1916, in Elizabethtown, the son of Virgil S. And Stella Mae (Patterson) Clark.
He graduated from Elizabethtown High School and attended Gettsyburg (Pa.) College, graduating in 1941. He was a loyal Sigma Chi.
He was drafted into the U.S. Army and attended officers candidate school for the Air Corps. He was sent to New Guinea where he stayed for two and 1/2 years. He was then transferred to the Phillipines before returning home.
In Nov. of 1946, he married Phyllis Robinson, who died in 1971. In Feb. of 1973, he married Constance Cleary in Ponca City, Okla. They lived in Plattsburgh where he was a counselor for the school system. He spent summers at the Underwood Club in New Russia, where he was president in the late 1970
