PLATTSBURGH — Wilford W. "Jack" Latour, 59, of Pike Street, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
He was born in Plattsburgh on Oct. 28, 1941, the son of Wilford W. and Sadie E. (St. Louis) Latour.
Jack was employed by Kenwood Moving and Storage in Plattsburgh for 38 years.
Jack is survived by his wife of 26 years, the former Linda Perry of Plattsburgh; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wilford "Jackie" Latour of Plattsburgh, and James "Jimmy" and Geraldine Latour of Plattsburgh; two daughters and a son-in-law, Debbie Hancock of Beekmantown, and Joni and Travis Spellman of Plattsburgh; a brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Arlene Latour of Plattsburgh; six sisters and five brothers-in-law, Barbara Silverman of Massachusetts, Vivian and Harold LaBarre of Plattsburgh, Doris and Floyd Duso of Beekmantown, Betty and Richard Devins of Plattsburgh, Jean and Robert LaSalle of Plattsburgh, and Bertha and Allen Darrah of Plattsburgh; six grandchildren, Chelsie, Kirstan, Dylan, Jackie, Kyle, and Matthew; and many nieces and nephews.
Jack was predeceased by a brother, William J. "Tut" Latour.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2001 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. Burial will be later in the year in St. Peter
