Port Henry — William N. Plumadore, 87, of Third Street in Port Henry, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
He was born in Saranac on Sept. 22, 1913, the son of Newell and Laura (Carter) Plumadore.
He was a foreman for the Village of Port Henry Public Works, a former member of the Port Henry Fire Department and a former special policeman for the Port Henry Police Department.
His wife, Clara (Gates) Plumadore, died May 23, 1999.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Gayle and Nelson Forget of Plattsburgh and Marsha and Thomas Vradenburg of Ticonderoga; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Susan Plumadore of Elizabethtown; his brother, Joseph Plumadore of Troy; his sister, Lena Rule of Port Henry; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, Jan. 21, 2001, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick
