MORIAH — Agnes B. Robinson of Moriah, died Monday, Jan. 22, 2001, at her home.
She was born in Standish on Oct. 24, 1919, the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (LaDuke) Bourey.
She was married to Floyd W. Robinson on Nov. 29, 1941, in St. Michael's Church in Standish by Msgr. Benjamin H. Staie.
Agnes was a long time member of St. Bernard's Parish in Lyon Mountain and is currently a member of St. Patrick's in Port Henry.
Mrs. Robinson was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She most enjoyed, with family, their camp of 48 years at Chateaugay Lake. Their home was always full of family on every holiday. Much of her time was devoted to crafts, flowers and playing the piano or organ. She was also an enthusiastic NBA fan.
Mrs. Robinson was a charter member of the Lyon Mountain Firemen's Auxiliary and the Lyon Mountain Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Daughters.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Floyd; three daughters, Anne Ricks of Saratoga Springs, Joan Barton of Larchmont and Patricia and son-in-law Michael Shusda of Milton, Vt.; one son, Jerry and daughter-in-law Lauri Robinson of Grayslake, Ill.; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret Kaska of Plattsburgh, Helen Bourey of Plattsburgh and Elaine Norwalk of Ormond Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Leo Bourey of Lyon Mountain and Arthur Bourey of Plattsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
One brother, Francis Bourey, predeceased her.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Harland Funeral Home in Port Henry. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 26, at noon at St. Patrick's Church with Rev. Michael A. Toth celebrating the Mass.
Entombment will follow at Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Plattsburgh.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Essex County in Mineville or to the charity of one's choice.
