CHAMPLAIN — Anita Morehouse, 81, of Moore Street in Champlain, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
Anita was predeceased by her husband, Carl Morehouse, on July 28, 1975. She was a lifelong resident of Moore Street.
Mrs. Morehouse worked in the cafeteria at Champlain Central School and also was very active in the Champlain Youth Commission.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, WiIliam and Janice Shouse of Plattsburgh; one grandson, Matthew Favreau of Rouses Point.; a sister, Norma Suprenant; a nephew, Rick Coupal; several cousins; and many very good friends.
Private services were held Tuesday, Feb. 13, at the Clark Funeral Home chapel in Champlain with Rev. Don Robinson officiating.
Burial will later in the year in St. Mary's Cemetery.
