Plattsburgh — Alice A. Ratigan, 89, of Plattsburgh, died Wednesday July 11, 2001, at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Minerva on June 16, 1912, the daughter of William and Adeline Anastasia (Owens) Raymond.
She is survived by one son, Robert Ratigan and his companion Pamela Drollette of Ellenburg Depot; and two grandchildren Shane Ratigan and Shauna Ratigan both of Plattsburgh.
Her husband Bert Ratigan died earlier.
She had taught in area schools and at the Plattsburgh State University.
She was also a member of the Our Lady of Victory Church.
There will be no calling hours. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2001, at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be in the Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens on the Tom Miller Road in Plattsburgh.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Elizabeth Leavine Scholarship Fund c/o Our Lady of Victory Church, 4919 South Catherine Street Plattsburgh, NY 12901
Arrangements are with the O'Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
