AUSABLE FORKS — Alice M. Deyoe, 88, formerly of the Evergreen Nursing Home in Plattsburgh, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
She was born June 18, 1913, in AuSable Forks, the daughter of Dennis and Catherine (Rock) Miner.
Alice was a member of the Au Sable Forks Senior Citizens FAN Club. She was a past member of the Catholic Daughters of America of Holy Name Church in AuSable Forks and she was an avid "bingo" player and a loving mother and grandmother.
Alice is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles Mark and Eleanor Deyoe of AuSable Forks; seven grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, Greg and Lynne Deyoe of Liverpool, Dan and Jana Deyoe of AuSable Forks, Randall and Mary Deyoe of Liverpool, Bryan and Lori Deyoe of AuSable Forks, Alan and Eva Deyoe of Hawaii, Chuck and Susanne Deyoe of AuSable Forks, Todd and Lana Deyoe of Ohio; 13 great - grandchildren, Anthony, Allison, Paul, Randy Jr., Kristy, Mark, Amanda, Kenny, Matt, Adam, Savannah, Victor and Bradley.
Her husband, Charles F. Deyoe, whom she married May 29, 1932, died Jan. 20, 1968.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Zaumetzer-Sprague Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday morning at 11 a.m. at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Au Sable Forks, burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Holy Name Catholic School.
