Keeseville — Audrey B. Finley, 85, formerly of Keeseville, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at the Horace Nye Nursing Home in Elizabethtown.
She was born in Montclair, N.J., on Jan. 27, 1916, the daughter of Wilbur W. and Edna (Lloyd) Brooks.
She married Charles Finley, June 29, 1940.
Mrs. Finley was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, former choir director and trustee for the Keeseville United Methodist Church and former AuSable Valley Central School Board member.
She enjoyed singing, reading, painting, cooking, and entertaining.
Survivors include one son, Charles W. Finley of Lake Placid; two grandsons, Charles W. Finley and James Cobett Finley; and special friends, James and Sarah Blaise of Keeseville.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Finley on Feb. 19, 1976; and one son, Peter Finley.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at 2 p.m. at the Keeseville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Sally White, pastor, officiating.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Keeseville United Methodist Church Building Fund.
Arrangements are by the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville.
