Plattsburgh — Alma S. Cowden, 99, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at the Vilas Home in Plattsburgh, N.Y.
She was born in Tully, N.Y., on Sept. 23, 1902, the daughter of William Christopher and Hanorah (Carver) Sheridan.
Alma was a former teacher and homemaker. She was active in the East Brutus Historical Society, a literacy volunteer, a Lector and Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph
