Perrys Mills — Aldona Dee Falcon, 88, of Perrys Mills, passed away Friday, March 8, 2002, at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Plattsburgh.
Aldona was born June 30, 1913, in Champlain to John and Victoria (Dubois) Lafountain. She lived on the canal boats as a young girl and lived on the Chazy River all her life. She enjoyed painting, reading, flower gardening and talking about the canal days.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Falcon in 1977 and her son, Robert in 1997.
Survivors include one son, Richard Falcon and his wife Audrey of Peru; one sister, Louise Chevalier; two daughters-in-law; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews,
Calling hours will be Sunday, March 10, 2002, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at St. Mary
