Willsboro, N.Y. — Ada May Green, 91, died at the Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, Fla., on Sunday, June 30, 2002, after a long illness. For many years, Mrs. Green made her summer home in Willsboro and her winter home in Florida.
She was born in Schenectady, N.Y., on Nov. 10, 1910, the daughter of Ernest and Rachel Anna (Sarringer) Cooper.
Mrs. Green was a member of the Willsboro United Methodist Church, the Indian River City Methodist Church in Titusville, the Willsboro Senior Citizens and the United Methodist Women of Willsboro. Ada loved to play bridge, golf and do crafts, many of which she donated to her churches for their craft fairs.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Claudia Denison of Willsboro, Wayne H. Green of New City, N.Y., and Charles W. Green of Orlando, Fla.
Her husband of over 50 years, Alfred J. Green, predeceased her in 1986.
Calling hours will be held at the Huestis Funeral Home in Willsboro on Saturday, July 6, 2002, from 1 to 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the family plot in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeshore Road in Willsboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Willsboro United Methodist Church.
