KEESEVILLE — William F. Laundree, 77, of Scott Lane, Keeseville, N.Y., passed away at his home on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002.
He was born Dec. 16, 1924, the youngest son of Edward and Helen (Latourelle) Laundree.
He was a veteran of World War II serving from 1943-1946 in the U.S. Navy and 1948 to 1955 in the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as a civilian at Hill Air Force Base in Utah and retired in 1971.
He was a member of the Elks Club and American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Keeseville.
From 1971 to 2002 he made Keeseville his home, where most people remember Bill as a Barkeeper at many local establishments.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and William Straight of Jay, N.Y.; four grandchildren, William Jr. And wife, Michelle, Jason, Amanda Stephanie; and one great-granddaughter, Myah all of Jay; and many nieces and nephews.
His parents; three brothers, Robert, James and Raymond predeceased him.
