AUSABLE FORKS — Alice M. (Blood) Aubin died Sunday, July 28, 2002, age 98, in Bedford, Texas, after a short illness.
Alice was born in Black Brook, N.Y., May 26, 1904.
Alice was married to Richard J. Aubin Sr. and resided in AuSable Forks, N.Y., until 1986.
She was a loving and devoted wife and mother to a family of eight children.
She was known throughout the AuSable Valley area for her wonderful talent to make baked goods as well as her culinary expertise.
She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her, as her kitchen door was always open to friends and family.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Sr.; her daughter, Anne Irvin Kyea; sons, Richard J. Aubin Jr., Ernest J. Aubin, Francis T. Aubin. Christopher Aubin; and sons-in-law, William C. Irvin and Dennis Robbins; and daughter-in-law, Helen Aubin Wirt.
Survivors include, Donalda A. Otto and husband, Barry V. Otto, Terry Aubin and wife, Dawn; daughter, Alyce L. Robbins; daughter-in-law, Pauline Aubin; and son-in-law, Floyd Kyea. Survivors also include 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grand-children; and several nieces and nephews.
Zaumetzer - Sprague Funeral Home of AuSable Forks is in charge of arrangements.
Visiting hours are on Sept. 27, 2002 from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Name Church in AuSable Forks, Sept. 28, 2002, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the family plot at Fairview Cemetery.
