MORRISONVILLE — Winifred J. Parry, 74, of Maple Street died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at her home.
Mrs. Parry was born in Plattsburgh on July 7, 1928, the daughter of Leslie Grant and Nellie (Barber) Bulley.
She married Russell G. Parry in 1946 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Plattsburgh, he died in 1983.
Mrs. Parry loved following all sports particularly major league baseball and devoted her time to taking care of animals.
She and her husband owned and operated, Russ' News Room on City Hall Place, for many years retiring in 1967.
Survivors include one son, Russell G. Parry Jr. and his wife Lyla of Fayetteville, Ga.; three daughters, Diana Toth and her husband Tibor of Newfields, N.H., Toni Reome
and her husband Bernard and Kathy Kezar and her husband Kevin, all of Morrisonville; one sister, Dorothy Woodington of Plattsburgh; her co-pilot, Maggie Reome of Morrisonville; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
One son, Richard Parry died in 1971.
Private calling hours and a funeral service will be held for the family followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
