PORT ORANGE, FLA. — Mr. William C. Maxwell, 67, of Port Orange, Fla., passed away on Jan. 14, 2003, at his residence.
He was born in Wilkensburg, Pa. He had lived in Port Orange since 1987, coming from Floyd, N.Y. He also had been a resident of Plattsburgh for many years. He retired after 20 years from the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Maxwell is survived by his wife, Dixie; two sons, William J. of Toms River, N.J., and James L. of Port Orange, Fla.; three daughters, Jill Garn of Port Orange, Fla., and Lisa Jones and Tracy Maxwell, both of Atlanta, Ga.; his sister, Grace Bradley, of Swanton, Md.; and nine grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, in Port Orange Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow with full military honors in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla.
