Peru — Alfreda K. LaBounty, 72, of Apple Valley Drive, Peru, past away peacefully, Monday, March 24, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Ticonderoga, March 27, 2003, the daughter of John and Martha (Hulbert) Treadway.
Mrs. LaBounty was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed outdoor activities including bird watching.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Timothy Delaney of Morrisonville; two grandsons, Roger L. LaBounty and his companion, Rachel Jiguere of Plattsburgh and Travis J. Nunn of Plattsburgh; one brother, Donald Treadway and his wife Florence of Schenectady; two sisters-in-law, Cora LaBounty of Keeseville and Agnes Goodrow formerly of Clintonville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard W. LaBounty; one great-grandson, Brandon L. LaBounty; four brothers, Richard, Arnold, Mitchell and Reginald Treadway; one sister, Beulah Filio, two brothers-in-law, George Goodrow and Donald LaBounty.
There will be no public calling hours. Following cremation, burial will be at the convenience of the family in the Port Douglas Cemetery.
Donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
