Crown Point — Alvin Maurice Bubba Lucas, 54, of Buck Mountain Road, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2003, at his residence.
He was born in Birmingham, Ala., Jan. 22, 1949, the son of the late Alvie and Lucille (Glass) Lucas.
Mr. Lucas was employed locally as a handyman for many years. Most recently, he worked for The View Restaurant of Hague.
Mr. Lucas was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Westport.
Survivors include his wife, Lavina Tiny (Towne) Lucas; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Albert Towne Jr. and Margaret and LeRoy Goldup, all of Crown Point: and three nephews and one niece, Richard David II, Alice David, Albert Charles Towne III and Chad Towne, all of Crown Point.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga.
A funeral service will take place Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Harry Sherman, High Councilman and Mark Kubricky, Branch President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, will preside. Burial will take place at the family plot in Crown Point at a later date.
