Gates, N.Y. — Winifred (Bernard) (Soucy) Burgio, died May 22, 2003.
She is survived by her children, Theresa (William) Heid of Johnsburg, N.Y., Edward (Ruth) Soucy of St. Louis, Mo., Francis (Sue Lewis) Soucy of Ruckersville, Va., Michael (Sharon) Soucy of St. Louis, Mo., and Melissa Soucy of Anapolis, Md.; stepchildren, Charles Burgio Jr. of San Jose, Calif., Marilyn (Jim) Demmerly of Kissimmee, Fla., and Arnold (Elaine) Burgio; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Theresa Fiore of Glenn Barry, Md., Lucian (Philomena) Bernard of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Joseph (Joan) Bernard of Costa Mesa, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Kathleen Soucy; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husbands, Charles Burgio and Ovilla Soucy.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, May 26th, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 and Long Pond Rd.). All are invited to attend Winifred's funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Jude the Apostle Church (4100 Lyell Rd.) Interment will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh, N.Y.
