Plattsburgh — Allen C. Parker, 37, of E.T. Circle, formerly of Saranac, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born in Plattsburgh on July 28, 1965, the son of Charles and Madelyn (Milne) Parker.
Allen was a 1983 graduate of Saranac High School.
He was a maintenance worker at Key Bank in Plattsburgh for eight years and later worked for Evergreen Townhouse Community as maintenance supervisor.
Allen was a member of the National Rifle Association. He loved nature, black powder hunting, fishing and archery. Allen had played as lead guitarist for several local country rock bands.
Survivors include his wife, the former Kristy Baxter of Plattsburgh; his parents, Charles and Madelyn Parker of Saranac; three brothers, Robert Parker of Saranac, Steven Parker and his wife Debra of Cadyville and Christopher Parker of Saranac; a great aunt, Elizabeth Rock of Plattsburgh; and several nieces; a nephew; and uncles and aunts.
Allen was predeceased by one brother, David Parker, in 1999.
Private calling hours will be held for the family.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption in Redford. Burial will be in Saranac Independence Cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to Assumption of Mary School in Redford.
