Keeseville — Alma J. Dennis, 77, of the Shunpike Road, Keeseville, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
She was born in Keeseville, Aug. 17, 1926, the daughter of Arthur and Grace (Miller) Hart.
She was a pastry cook at the Royal Savage Inn for 27 years.
Mrs. Dennis was a bingo volunteer for St. John's Church for many years and enjoyed fishing, crocheting and cooking.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Dennis R. Schultz and Jacklin and Francis O'Neill; one son and daughter-in-law, Garry L. Sr. and Mary Dennis; and one brother and sister-in-law, Sherwood and Nancy Jane Hart, all of Keeseville; three brothers-in-law, Ernest Pasho of Keeseville, Lloyd Stevens of Willsboro and Raymond Gay of Westport; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grand-children; and several nieces and nephews.
She predeceased by her parents; her stepfather, Edward Roy Kinch; her husband, George Dennis, Feb. 20, 1982; two grandsons, Scott and Dale Schultz; and brothers and sisters, Emma Mae Pasho, Viola Elizabeth LaMere, James Arthur Hart, George Henry Hart, Alfred Andrew Hart, Rosemary Marie Waltrous and Shirley Regina Stevens.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church in Keeseville with Monsignor Leeward J. Poissant, pastor, celebrating. Burial will be in the spring in the parish cemetery.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Keeseville Rescue Squad.
