BURKE — Amanda Marie Lobdell, 33, of State Route 11, Burke died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh, N.Y.
She was born in Malone, N.Y., on June 29, 1970, the daughter of Garth and Delores (Delaney) Peck.
She was married to L. Alan Lobdell on July 8, 1989, in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Constable, N.Y.
Mrs. Lobdell is survived by her husband of 14 years; a daughter, Samantha Marie Lobdell at home; her mother, Delores Peck of Burke, N.Y.; four brothers and a sister-in-law, Terry Peck of Rochester, N.Y., Randy and Diane Peck of Burke, N.Y., Allan Peck of Burke, N.Y., and Todd Peck of Chateaugay, N.Y.; her paternal grandmother, Jean Peck of Burke, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Garth Peck on March 22, 2000; her maternal grandparents, Fred and Marie Delaney; and her paternal grandfather, Hollis Peck.
Amanda graduated from Franklin Academy, Malone. She was a homemaker and operated the family dairy farm, known as Alamana Farm in Burke. Amanda loved being a mother to her special little girl, with her life revolving around her family and her farm. She enjoyed the outdoors, horseback riding and snowmobiling.
Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 6, 2004, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at Chateaugay United Methodist Church with Reverend Eleanor Bellows officiating. Burial will take place at Burke Center Cemetery, Burke.
