ALBURG, VT./ROUSES POINT — Mrs. Alida D. Reynolds, 84, died late Saturday afternoon, Sept. 18, 2004, in the Cedar Hedge Nursing Home in Rouses Point.
Born in Windsor Mill, Quebec, Canada, Aug. 3, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Dina (Cotnoire) Goodrow. She attended schools in Granby, Quebec and was married to Walter Reynolds, who predeceased her on April 13, 1991.
A resident of the Alburg community for more than 50 years, Mrs. Reynolds was a devoted parishioner of Saint Amadeus Roman Catholic Church. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Anita Juneau of Plattsburgh and Mrs. Geneva Boire of West Chazy, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Walter she was predeceased by four sisters, Mrs. Lea Pion, Mrs. Lucille Carson, Mrs. Janette Tyo and Mrs. Laura Castine; and four brothers, Arthur, Ernest, Gerry and Lionel Goodrow.
The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at Saint Amadeus Roman Catholic Church, Main Street, Alburg Village. Father Maurice U. Boucher, SSE will be the celebrant and homilist.
Interment will follow in the Reynolds family lot in Holy Angels Cemetery in Altona.
