Ogdensburg — William H. Siltz, 87, formerly of Plattsburgh, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg.
He was born in Saranac, N.Y., on Aug. 28, 1916, the son of the late Richard and Dora (Bell) Siltz.
William lived in Ogdensburg for many years and worked as a maintenance man and farmhand in the area.
He is survived by one sister, Gladys Kennedy of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Campobello, S.C.; two nephews, Raymond LaBombard Jr. and his wife Donna of Plattsburgh and Gary LaBombard and his wife Linda of Piedmont, S.C.; six nieces, Mona Mayo of Scotia, N.Y., Jeanne Leagon of Morrisonville, N.Y., Rose McIver and her husband Ronald of Martinez, Ga., Colleen Tolbert of Lyon Mountain, N.Y., Holly Curtin and her husband Randy of Inman, S.C., and Lila Beaudet of Plattsburgh.
A brother, Thomas Siltz, died before him.
Calling hours will be Monday, July 26th, from noon to 2 p.m. at the O'Neill - Redden - Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ken Davis officiating. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery following the funeral service.
