Merrill — Yvonne Tallman, 79, of Blanch Road., Merrill died Nov. 30, 2004, at the Clinton County Nursing Home, Plattsburgh, N.Y.
Born in Lyon Mountain, N.Y., on Jan. 17, 1925, she was the daughter of Desford and Minerva (Gadway) Bruso.
She was married to Eber Tallman on July 4, 1942, in Brainardsville, N.Y. He predeceased her on Nov. 27, 2000.
Mrs. Tallman is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Sylvia Tallman of El Paso, Texas; four daughters and a son-in-law, Laurelie Tallman and companion James LaMountain of Lyon Mountain, Sarah McDonald of Merrill, Judy (Green) Tallman of Chester, Conn., Marie and Daniel Hooghouse of Apopka, Fla.; six granddaughters, Lori, Karen and Amy Green, Sandra Tallman and Holly and Mecehelle Hooghouse and companion Bryan Ferrer; a grandson, Matthew and his wife Gina McDonald; two great-grandsons, Niko Tallman and Jaxson McDonald; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Dorthy and David Brooks, Lolita Krauss and Gail and Gerry Carriere; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Barbara Bruso and Dennis and Wilda Bruso; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Kathy Tallman of Roswell, N.M.
Besides her husband she was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Lisa; a grandson, David; three sisters, Maida Peets, Zaida Rivers and Arleen Harris; and three brothers, Ivan, Galen and Harold Bruso.
She was a member of the High Banks Seventh Day Adventist Church.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Sunday at the church in Saranac, N.Y. Burial will be at the convenience of the family, at Eastside Cemetery, Chateaugay, N.Y.
Arrangements are with the Chateaugay Funeral Home.
