REDFORD — Agnes M. Myers, 97, of Route 3, Redford and more recently of the Vilas Home, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at the CVPH Medical Center.
Mrs. Myers was born in Clayburg on July 28, 1907, the daughter of Charles and Clina (LaFountain) Caron.
She married Adlor Myers at Assumption of Mary Church in 1926, he died in 1993. Mrs. Myers and her husband were the owners and operators of Myers Garage and Store in Redford for over 55 years.
She was a member of the Church of the Assumption in Redford, the Sacred Heart Fraternity and the Third Order of St. Francis.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick Myers and his wife Marion of Magnolia, Del., and Gilbert Myers and his wife Jean of Chazy Lake; three daughters, Rita Ross of Plattsburgh, Patricia and Jay Dubray of Chazy Lake and Mrs. Ronald (Geraldine) Lautenschuetz of Redford; one brother, Victor Caron and his wife Florence of Beekmantown; one sister, Florence Botten of Plattsburgh; 14 grandchildren; 22 great- grandchildren; and 2 great- great-grandchildren.
One brother, Remi Caron; and three sisters, Anna Manley, Lela Provost and Flora Fountain, all died earlier.
Calling hours were held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption. Burial will be at a later date in the parish cemetery.
