ELIZABETHTOWN -- Anastasia H. Fadden, 93, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital. She was born Oct. 14, 1911, in Lyon Mountain, N.Y., the daughter of Alexander and Melvina (Cheska) Kourofsky.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Alfred Fadden of Elizabethtown; one son and daughter-in-law, Alfred and Rosalyn Fadden of Rochester; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Jean and Larry LaRock of Plattsburgh and Carolyn and Robert Karcher of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Anna D'antuono of Malone and Mary Stunzi of Saranac Lake; four brothers and their wives, John Kourofsky of Dannemora, Alexander and Estelle Kourofsky of Lyon Mountain, Francis and Betty Kourofsky of Silver Bay, Minn., and Walter and Rita Kourofsky of Lyon Mountain; a sister-in-law, Ilene Kourofsky of Lyon Mountain; two grandsons and their wives, Steven and Vince LaRock of Mountainside, N.J., and Paul and Jacqueline LaRock of Brentwood, Tenn.; two granddaughters and their husbands, Lisa and Bill Whalen of Elizabethtown and Meredith and John King of Elizabethtown; seven great-grandchildren, Lily and Wesley Whalen, Ella and Grayson King, Christina, Nathan and Paige LaRock.
She was predeceased by one daughter; and three brothers, Stanley, Joseph and Anthony Kourofsky.
Calling hours will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at W.M. Marvin's Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Elizabethtown. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
