PLATTSBURGH — Mr. William F. Bill Aubin, 61, of the Cross Road, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at his home with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Buffalo on July 3, 1943, son of the late Gordon and Genevieve (Senecal) Aubin.
William worked for the Town of Plattsburgh, retiring in 1996 as the operator of the water and sewer plant in Champlain Park. He was an avid NASCAR fan, loved playing horseshoes and enjoyed family gatherings in the garage.
William was a dedicated husband, father and papa. He was a member of the Teamsters and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6067 in Morrisonville.
William is survived by his wife, the former Claudette LePage, whom he married June 22, 1963; his children and their spouses, Amy and Roland Carter of Plattsburgh, Scott and Christina Aubin of Colchester, Vt., and Laurel and Robert Dillon of West Chazy. He is also survived by one brother and a sister-in-law, Herbert and Mary Aubin of Plattsburgh; one sister and a brother-in-law, Dorothy and Donald LaBonte of Plattsburgh; and seven grandchildren, Chad, Genevieve, Zackary, Zoelle, Andrew, Kylie and Erin.
He is predeceased by two brothers, Edward and Robert, and a sister, Ellen Marie.
Calling hours were Thursday, May 12, and will be held Friday, May 13th, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, May 14th, at 11 a.m. from St. Joseph
