Ellenburg Depot — Albert Joseph Trombley, 71, died Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
Born in Ellenburg Center on June 6, 1933, he was the son of Melvin S. and Louise (Monette) Trombley.
A lifelong farmer, Albert loved working with machinery and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his dog Sparkey and visiting with his special friends.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Marie Cayea and her husband James of Ellenburg Depot; a sister-in-law, Marie Trombley of Mooers Forks; a special niece, Cathy Drake and her daughter Christie both of Ellenburg Depot; a nephew, James Cayea III and his wife Kathy of Morrisonville; a niece, Joy Cayea and her husband Ray Petrashune of Plattsburgh; a niece, Cheryl Peryea and her husband Denis of Altona and their children, Aaron and Aubrey; and a niece, Lisa Santini and her husband Leo of Gloversville, N.Y., and their son Nicholas.
He is predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Irvin, Donald and Charles; and a sister, Pearl Appleton.
Calling hours will be Saturday, May 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens in Ellenburg Depot.
