ELIZABETHTOWN — Wilhelmina Helen Coonrod Crowningshield Aubin, 91, died Friday, March 10, 2006, at the Elizabethtown Community Hospital in Elizabethtown.
She was born July 30, 1914, in Lewis, the daughter of Benjamin and Loretta (Mitchell) Coonrod.
She is survived by three sons and their spouses, Claude W. and Sonja Aubin of Elizabethtown, Miles A. and Patty Aubin of Willsboro and Leo (Bill) D. Aubin of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Loretta M. Espenscheid of Chicago; one brother-in-law, Donald Valentine. She is also survived by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great- grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Claude Aubin; and one son, Louis J. Aubin.
Wilhelmina had many interests, including drawing, painting, crafts, gardening, fishing, card and board games with her family, preserving fruits and vegetables, animals, drives in the country and collecting cards and photographs.
Calling hours will be held Monday, March 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. at W.M. Marvins Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown. A funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. Fred Shaw at the funeral home at 4 p.m. following the calling hours.
Burial will take place in the spring in Lewis Cemetery.
