ALVIN J. STOECKERT, 86, of AuSable River Campsite, Keeseville, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, surrounded by his loving family. Alvin was born April 5, 1920, in Union City, N.J., the son of Henry C. and Anna (Davenport) Stoeckert. Alvin's wife died Sept. 30, 2006. A memorial service will be held today, Jan. 8, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Keeseville.
