PLATTSBURGH — Mr. Allan Sanders Mott, 89, formerly of the Begor House on the Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at Craneville Place of Dalton in Dalton, Mass. He was born in Cassville, N.Y., on March 17, 1917, the son of Milford and Mable (Sanders) Mott.
Allan had been employed by the New York State Department of Transportation. He enjoyed trapping and fishing.
He was predeceased by his parents, Milford and Mable Mott; his wife, Alice Mott; a son, Lynn William Mott at childbirth; three brothers, William, Arthur and Lee Mott.
Allan is survived by a daughter, Carol Caron and her husband Russell of Peru; a sister, Viola Mott of New York; a granddaughter, Cathy Boardman and her husband Keith of Morrisonville; three great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Devan and Andrea of Morrisonville; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, N.Y.
A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Monsignor Joseph Aubin, retired, officiating.
Interment will be at a later date at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Breman, N.Y.
