Bob Emery: “We haven’t done a good job at all this year playing with a three-goal lead, and that was a continuation of that tonight. But you gotta be happy and positive about the win. I thought we did a good job keeping the lead, although I didn’t think we played to win. We played not to lose once we got the lead.”
Emery on Plattsburgh’s success when hosting the PrimeLink: “Our fans are great. I tell everyone all the time our fans are what keep me here. And they were back behind us tonight, and it’s an easy place to play, Plattsburgh State, when you’re the home team, for sure.”
Mathieu Cadieux on winning the prestigious tournament: “There were three really good teams (in) this tournament and we came out and played hard. We were lucky enough to win the tournament, so it goes to show we can play with anybody.”
Cadieux: “We’re going to enjoy this win tonight, and then starting tomorrow we’re going to be focusing on next weekend. Hopefully be able to bring our play from this weekend into next weekend.”
