Thank You!
The blog made its debut today, and thanks for the many comments that readers sent, including notes of encouragement, snippets of memories and a few downright funny thoughts! However, the website experienced some problems handling all of it, and, even though some comments were posted for a brief time, they have been lost in the land of technology.
I hope some of you will resend your initial comments so that they can be re-posted.

Foxy, you sure have come a long way from being my favorite teacher in 1977 at Plattsburgh Middle School. This is definately up your alley and it looks as if your blog is a hit with all. Reading it brings back lots of good memories! Keep up the great work. I'll keep reading.

Foxy,
You're one of my favorite North Country personalities. I'm delighted that you've now found an innovative, new niche.
You have touched literally thousands of lives, both young and old, and this new venue will open for you and your many followers and fans.
Don't ever stop.
Gordie and Kaye Little
(Foxy's note: Readers will recognize the name Gordie Little, whose popular column appears every Sunday in the Press-Republican. Thanks, Gordie and Kaye)

Hey Foxy,
I think Jim's got the good guys mixed up. Also, going back, remember the City league basketball rivalries between Monty St. and Bailey Ave. when we were all about 8-9-10 years old. After those nights at Monty St., John and David Burdo and I would run as fast as we could through the Old School Yard. By the way, my mother's name was Eleanor May, just like Jed Clampett's daughter.

I look every day for your blog, Fox! Maybe you can stretch your imagination even farther back and recall the 7 and 8th grade basketball games between the parochial schools or the fierce rivalry that existed during Little League between Fox Hill and the good guys that played at St Peters field. We were always jealous of your dugouts!

Hey Foxy,
Hello from your cousin. It is a great idea for you to grow a ponytail. People will be able to tell us apart now. Have a great Christmas and New Year. Hope to catch you around and, perhaps, see you at one of our shows.

Hey Foxy,
Wonderful to see you in cyberspace. I was a DJ and news guy at WIRY from 1993-98, remember me now?? I read the column written by my dear friend and mentor Gordie Little religiously; now I have another page to read and I'm thankful for it.

Hello Foxy, 2 great ideas by the press, 1. getting an interactive blog and 2., getting the Fox to facilitate. Look forward to lots of great comments from the north country!
